4. Interior Clutter
A farmstead is a place of work. It shouldn’t be perfectly clean. Scatter barrels of crops around the barn entrance. Place Hay Bales in corners. Add “feed troughs” using cauldrons or trapdoors. Use armor stands dressed in leather gear to look like farmers’ clothing hung up for the day. These tiny, specific details tell a story. They turn a static build into a living, breathing scene.
