4. The Underground Cave Corral

For the player building in a mountain biome or an underground base, the Cave Corral proves you don’t need the sun to have a thriving farm.

The Aesthetic: Raw, rugged, and atmospheric. Think Deepslate, Mossy Cobblestone, and Glow Lichen.

Architectural Tips: Hollow out a large cavern. Instead of traditional fences, use walls made of Stone Bricks and Iron Bars. Use Glow Lichen on the ceilings to mimic subterranean vegetation, and incorporate a small, cascading waterfall that flows into a pond for the animals. Lighting is crucial here—use hidden Sea Lanterns under Moss Carpets to ensure the area is bright enough to prevent mob spawns but maintains that cool, damp cave vibe.
